Sylvester and Dougal

I have been using the 'simple systems' feeds for the last 2 1/2 years and I love it! My horses have very different dietary needs, Sylvester 15.3 thorouhgbred is a poor dooer who is very sensitive and prone to fizz with even molassed chaff, Dougal 16.2 drum horse is a big boy who puts weight on very easily but needs feed for more energy! Dougal lives out 24/7, Sylv comes in the odd night. They are both fed 'Total eclipse' and 'purabeet', Sylv has additional 'Blue bag grass nuts', 'lucie nuts' and 'just grass', Dougal has 'lucie stalks'. I am totally happy with these feeds and my horses love them. On two occasions now, I have foolishly ran out of lucie stalks or just grass I have used 'other' chaffs and within 3 days Sylv has become fizzy, lacking in concentration and irritable. Remarkable. It's proof enough for me that 'Simple systems' feeds are better for my horses and there will be no going back. I cannot recommend this company more- they are always friendly to talk to, highly efficient, helpful and good value. (I also have 3 ponies ranging from 3 years old to 16 and they too are fed with same feeds as Dougal.) If you have not yet tried these feeds, do so, it'll be the best thing you've ever done.
