Toberpatrick Bono

Bono is my 12yr old daughters competition pony. He is a 14.2 Irish Sports Pony. He is now 9 years old and bought him 2 years a go. Initially he was a very fussy eater. Absolute nightmare! I struggled to keep his condition and spending a small fortune on various different feeds. I suspected he might be slightly Ulcery. Using Simple System has settled him and he now loves his feed. It took time. It wasn’t an overnight success. I gradually built up the amount over a month. The feed and supplements really helped his digestive system. Getting Bono to eat was so important as he is being competed intensively. I needed the stamina and focus so Charlotte was able ride him at an optimum level for One Day Events, Show Jumping, Arena Eventing, Hunter Trails and Dressage. They are having so much fun and since having him they have competed very successfully, qualifying for various Championships for her Pony Club, Riding Club, Sunshine Tour and Trailblazers. I use PuraBeet and Organic Luci Pellets as a basic. I will also use Red Bag when we need to maintain his stamina and condition throughout the summer. I also use Build and Shine mixed in with extra Linseed through out the competition season. It is also easy to use during away shows. I have used Simple System for over 15 years. I have tried out other feeds by different manufacturers but, I always come back to what works best. The products are genuinely non heating even with the most nervous of horses or ponies. This enables me to increase the amount of feed when needed. Even when Bono is intensively competed he still maintains superb condition and staying calm! The feeds success shows in the competition results. It’s lovely there is enough choice to be able to adjust the feeding routine within the same manufacturer. I am always recommending Simple System.
