Join our Team - Marketing Maternity Cover

We are looking for a creative and skilled marketing whizz to join our team in early April on a 12-month maternity cover basis. Ideally, we are looking for someone who is knowledgeable and passionate about horses, with a keen interest in forage feeding, to lead the way in promoting the benefits of our feeding system. The role will involve managing company communications across print, digital and occasionally in-person, so good copywriting and technical skills are essential. Ideally, you will have experience using MailChimp, Hootsuite and Adobe Creative as well as Google Ads & Analytics. Full training and support will be given to the right candidate. We are a small, close-knit team looking for someone friendly to join us. This is a full-time role for 12-months based at our Head Office outside of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. Note that whilst we would prefer this to be a full-time role, we are a flexible company and so are happy to hear from potential part-time applicants. The Role � Writing copy and editing content for print and digital � Attending exhibitions and trade fairs � Voice of the customer: o Delivering and analysing our annual customer survey o Monitoring trends o On-demand customer research projects � Communications: o Creation and distribution of our monthly newsletter via MailChimp o Management of our social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) o Content creation for our social media platforms o Updating news and product information on our website � Effective lead generation and budget management for: o Google Ads o Facebook Ads o Other Advertising � Monitoring marketing across different platforms with weekly reporting to the team � Content creation for our bi-annual publication, The Scoop � Supporting and liaising with our team of sponsored riders � Point of contact for sponsorship and event requests Terms � Competitive salary � Hours 0900 � 1700, Monday to Friday with some weekend work for shows/events � Company pension � Full time, 12-month contract � 28 days annual leave per annum, inclusive of bank holidays � Discount on Simple System products Please send your CV and a covering letter to: jobs@simplesystem.co.uk Closing date for applications: 20 February 2022
