Candy

Candy, aged 36, has been in our family for 18 years, she retired about 5 years ago, after being on loan to a local riding school. When we took her back under our care we discovered she was having great trouble eating hay and also not benefiting from being on good grass. We had her teeth checked and we were told by the vet that there was nothing he could do about her teeth. So we put her on Simple System feeds. She has been solely feed lucienuts, unmolassed beet pulp and total eclipse since then (no grass, no hay). She lives out all year round and as the picture shows if it wasn't for her grey bits I would think she was a teenager, (but that's my opinion!). If it hadn't been for Simple System feed we would have lost our irreplaceable family pony many years ago!
