Holidays!

22 July 2014

Finally Jupiter and I have been on our much anticipated holiday to Skegness where we stayed on a yard by the beach with a friend and her horse. We had a lovely time and managed a canter in the surf and gallop along the beach, definitely didn’t want to come home!

Following on from my previous blog I have been having physio on my back and hip which has straightened me up and helped my position no end.  Jupiter has had his shoes off and is moving a lot better, so am hoping I have made the right decision - he was barefoot until he damaged his pedal bone in January and then had shoes put on but I always felt that he was never totally comfortable in them.   He has been out to a few more shows and we only need a couple more points at novice and elementary before  qualification for the winter regionals is complete.   I will then focus on some music classes and hopefully do a medium test in September.

Paris is now doing a little lunging and I hope to sit on her properly in a couple of weeks time, I also take her out for hacks with Blossom (ride and lead) so she is getting to see a bit more of the countryside and further her education.
