Try something different this summer...

    ILGS

Why is variety so important to your horse?

Giving your horse access to a variety of grasses, herbs and hedgerows through their hay, feed or management and housing, helps to mimic the diet they would consume in nature. Each plant, herb and forb supplies a differing nutritional profile in terms of not only protein (amino acids) and digestible energy levels but also its mineral content and natural vitamin levels. Horses are able to detect subtle differences in nutrient levels and will self-select those they feel offer benefit or simply those they prefer. Allowing them the freedom to self-select can greatly improve welfare standards by better supporting them mentally and nutritionally.

Add variety from our range of chops

Simple System Horse Feeds offer a range of six, high-quality forage chops, and we’re giving you the opportunity to try two bags for free.

The entire range is free from cereals and their by-products including straw, molasses, soya, additives and preservatives.

Whether you’re looking for a more natural feed, a higher energy or lower calorie option, or have been tempted to try something for variety, here’s your chance.

We’ll be giving away a total of 50 bags to 25 lucky customers.

Please note that we do not recommend chops or chaffs for elderly horses or those with poor dentition, instead we suggest utilising easier to manage soaked feeds or hay replacers. A separate competition for such horses is scheduled to run later in the summer.

Entry is easy, just tell us about you and your horse, starting with your email address.
