Ernie

Ernie has been a Simple System boy since August 2008, when six years old, after a recommendation following several springs of serious, and dangerous, “spring fever”. The high he had in the spring of 2008 was followed sharply by a low, and virus, that left him with a sort of equine equivalent of post-viral depression, as described by my vet. He was fed on Lucie Nuts, Total Eclipse, Eclipse Recovery and Justamint and when the virus and its consequences were out of his system he really started to shine inside and out. His energy levels built up to a level I had never seen in him despite having had him since three years old. His concentration levels soared and his wish and willingness to work and learn made him immensely fun to work with. In the past I had fed him supplements for calming without knowing that his whole diet was to blame and now I need none – saving me money too! He’s now comfortable and confident at Elementary dressage and I hope very much to progress to a higher level in the future. I have two TB Simple System mares too who both adore your grub and are a picture of health as a result of eating it. Thank you so very much for reminding us how delicate our horses’ “systems” are and how keeping it “simple” is best!
