Please find attached a picture of our Suffolk Punch mare Mynchen's Manor Pollyanna and her first foal South Burlingham Toby. Polly has been fed LucieNuts and unmolassed PuraBeet with Total Eclipse for the last 4 years. She has been shown in hand as a 2 and 3 year old and has finished as Supreme Champion 2 years in a row. She lives on fresh air but just needed something to put a shine on her coat. Total Eclipse was the answer.
Then we put Polly, and another mare Lucy, in foal. In the last 3 months of the pregnancy I have fed them LucieNuts, unmolassed PuraBeet and Lunar Eclipse. Unfortunately Lucy lost her foal but Polly had a big colt foal. Suffolk's are known to be very good doers and I didn't want to over feed her but with advice I was given by the staff on the helpline I felt confident I was feeding her all the nutrients she required. 3 weeks after she foaled Polly looks fantastic and so does Toby. I have just entered them into their first show.
Suffolk Punches are quite rare with only 400 in the country. We are very privileged and proud to be a part of the survival of this breed.
We also have a selection of ponies which our daughters ride. They included a Welsh D and a 33 year old pony called Fly whose front teeth are so worn down he can't use them. The Welsh D does very well in M & M and any type of jumping but needs careful feeding as he can hot up too quickly but being 21 years old also needs something to help with his weight. Fly competes in Veteran classes and has won quite a few. This is all due to Simple System. Its such a versatile feed, it can be fed to almost any type of horse.
