Carter

I have Carter, my 6yr old, green, connemara on Simple System Feeds, and have done so for the last 6 months since I bought him. Please see attached photos of him before and after. The one of him standing in a yard was the day I collected him, you can see the fat deposits on him, and his general condition. Next have a look at the one of my daughter last weekend at a local dressage competition. What a difference!! At first he lost 5 shoes in 8 weeks, and was a crib biter in the stable. He stopped cribbing within a week on this feed, and after 6 weeks his feet improved enormously, and my farrier is really pleased. You can see his general condition now, he maintains an even weight, his coat is gleaming, and he is such a lovely, content, happy little chap. I also know that regular exercise is so good for them, and Carter does about 40 miles a week. I have done some pleasure rides with him, and my daughter has started doing some dressage. His first scores were 68.5% for prelim, and 62.5% for novice. Not bad for a beginner. It was good to have a chat with Jane regarding how to feed him when out for the day at shows, as one forgets that they need to eat so regularly. I think Gordon will be delivering a lot more feed in this area!!
