I just wanted to say a massive thank you for all of the help and advice we have received when changing our horses feed to Simple System. I have a 16.2h Thoroughbred mare eventer who is very lively and is scared of her own shadow. Before I changed her feeds she was a very spooky, stressed mare that would jump at her own shadow, which made it very difficult in the dressage arena. I also couldn’t use my legs on her as every time I did she would shoot forward and panic and getting on her was always a bit unpredictable. As you can imagine I was starting to get very nervous prior to the dressage test and it felt like I would be constantly walking on egg shells around her in the warm up. I was recommended Simple System by a friend and thought it would be worth a go, I must add I was a bit sceptical at first thinking how can a feed sort all of this out, However she has been on it for about 5 months now and she is like a different horse!!! We still have our spark, which I love about her, but I can now get on her on my own without any help keeping her still. We can go hacking and not be petrified by different coloured leaves in the hedge!! This weekend I schooled her for the first time since she has been on the feed, and the entire time I has the most ridiculous grin on my face as I could finally use my legs!! I cannot begin to explain to you how ecstatic I was by being able to do that, and we are both looking forward to the eventing season and now finally being able to do her justice as she is a jumping machine! I have been recommending this feed to everyone, as I can’t get over the change in my mare.
