An embarrassing but hilarious mistake and a lot of fun! Hi everybody, Spirit and I are doing really well in terms of making lots of friends on our new yard. Unfortunately though, I have come down with a lurgy of some kind! A couple of days ago I tried to order Spirit’s feed as usual from Simple System only to accidentally order the wrong feed - due to my difficulties I often get things mixed up. Luckily, Simple System sent me the right feed for Spirit really quickly. Recently I went to see my friend, the horse whisperer, Monty Roberts at his Hartpury college demo and we chatted for a while before and afterwards sharing the latest news and catching up which was lovely. It was great to see all my intelligent horsemanship friends and some beautiful horses including my course tutor, Kelly Mark’s, horse - the famous American Pie who was returning for a demo after six years of semi- retirement! We have recently started a video blog and live streams on my Facebook page, Autism Meets Natural Horsemanship. This enables me to document my journey, discuss bits and pieces about Horsemanship and to raise awareness for autism in a much larger way. It's also been fun to ride Spirit in the arena at the new yard and we have been working on teaching her to stand nicely at the mounting block just like Monty Robert’s horses do! All the best to everyone, Charlie and Spirit.

''Feed the mare to feed the foal'' - wise words from many an experienced breeder. With little grass due to the dry weather, grazing can be topped up in the feed bowl.
