Should we? Why not!

07 June 2017

Should we finally put Zipper back on to the Red Bag Grass Pellets? Should we enter our first Fox Hunter 1.20m together? Should we enter go Intermediate in July? Yes. Yes we should! Hes been great this month. We achieved a 6th placing in a competitive Novice section at Aston Le Walls, with a 33/0/0, and we decided to take the leap of faith and enter his first ever 1.20m course (only 1 down, but a very confident round!). I myself havent actually done a British Show Jumping 1.20m in about 8 years, so it was a bit of a shock to the system! If the next couple of Novice runs go well, were hoping to take Zip up to Intermediate at Wilton in July. Its because of this that weve finally decided to move him back on to the Red Bag Grass Pellets, although hes got plenty of energy as it is; with the extra heat and more intense fitness work, it will no doubt prove very helpful. Im really looking forward to what the summer has to offer Team Orange! Photo courtesy of LRG Photography.
