10 years of Simple System HayCare!
During its 10 years so far, it has become apparent that HayCare is so much more than a hay replacer...
Simple System was delighted to sponsor the Eastern Counties Area Connemara Show 2023 at The Suffolk Equestrian Centre, Bury St Edmunds.
The sun shone and a good day was had by all. We were even more delighted to discover that the Supreme Champion of the show was a Simple System customer! Our congratulations go to Kilimazing Kwanza (Daisy) who is owned by Sarah Baker, ridden by Emma Last and presented in hand by Justin Hollis. 11 year old Daisy is fed Organic Lucie Stalks, Lucie Fibre Cubes, Total Eclipse, MetaSlim and Lucie Brix. Bred by Mrs Tango Fawcett, Daisy is by Eastlands Banker out of Kilimazing Dubh. Daisy won: 1st Intermediate Ridden 1st Open Ridden Ridden Champion 2nd In Hand Mare Supreme Champion Champion British Bred Connemara "She is a very special pony to us," says Justin Hollis. "She has the biggest most kindest heart for a pony, tries her heart out and always wants to please - although a real diva." The team are looking forward to furthering their dressage training and hope to qualify for HOYS. We wish them the best of luck and look forward to seeing their progress.

Grass has the potential to grow all year, which is different from many other plants. Certain things are necessary for this growth, but if they are not met, the grass will be dormant, waiting for conditions to improve.Â
Rain fall can trigger growth akin to a spring flush, especially if temperatures are high. Even whilst true spring may be in the past, the risk for those prone to laminitis will rise.
