Perla

Just wanted to let you know that with last weekends EGB Peak District ride being two days and Chris not riding, I took the opportunity to ride Nea on Saturday with a friend and Perla on Sunday, we only did the 16K NCR rides but Perla was definitely on form!

 

We went round without other horses and she did a steady trot (without being asked) all the way round, except a few bits that were stony and/or hilly where I got off and walked her. In hand she even insisted on trotting down the hill on one occasion, me running down with her! We even had a lovely steady canter along beautiful Longdale and I didn't ask her!

 

I can only think that after 5 days double dose of Joint Eclipse and a portion of Red Bag Grass Pellets to give her a boost, it made all the difference. Perla will always walk or eat if she can so a real change! She did flag a little towards the end but then cantered across the last field, I was amazed! Lets see what happens this weekend! Thanks for your help, anymore always appreciated!
