December, for Zipper, has mostly revolved around terrifying blue things on the floor that must be host to monsters and sharks: water trays. We forget, because he's taken so well to his new 'competition' life, how inexperienced he really is. We were having a good round at a Newcomers at Parwood, until the last fence - when Zipper first met his nemesis! Having spent some time playing with lots of spooky things on the floor at home and building the confidence up, we came to our next event (slightly) more prepared. Unfortunately, we'd not tackled anything over 2ft yet... so the 3ft3 oxer at fence 5 at Crofton Manor was a bit of a shock. I'm not ashamed to admit I yelled 'wahoo - nailed it!' once he'd cleared it (first time - double clear!). Well maybe I'm a bit ashamed. Either way, I like to think this attitude of his, towards 'scary' things, bodes well for his future in Eventing.
Zipper's still a fully-fledged member of the barefoot brigade, to help his feet improve before the season. He continues to have extra Pure Organic Seaweed and Total Eclipse to help the process along - you can see from his pointy toes, his feet are definitely looking better now. Phew!
For each product the sugar levels are displayed on the Simple System website. These are displayed as a range, or 'less than' percentage. For example our low calorie Lucie Fibre Cubes are <5% sugar.
