GreenGold Pure Unmolassed Lucerne Chop - Horse Feed of the Month

30 March 2011

A superb, totally pure quality chopped lucerne! We have not added a single thing – no soya, no molasses, no flavourings, no pellets – just pure lucerne grown with soft rain and sunshine on the fertile soils of Perthshire then flash dried to preserve all its natural goodness.

Lucerne has been shown to be helpful if your horse has acidic problems in his stomach and Green Gold is nice and chewy so generates plenty of acid-neutralising saliva. It is a good natural source of carotene, for Vitamin A, Vitamin E, calcium and magnesium to name but a few. When you need a totally pure, additive free chop with plenty of nutrition, but not heating and free from straw, look no further! Green Gold is the answer!

If you think your horse has ulcers, consult your vet and read our Ulcers Information Sheet for more about how you can help your horse through feeding and management.
