Polocrosse National Championships 2007 - Three action packed days in August

Thanks are due to Essex polocrosse team Western Phoenix and the UKPA for organising a terrific National Championship Meeting at Ashfields Farm Polo and Carriage Driving Centre in Essex. Anybody not versed in the skills and thrills of polocrosse are missing a serious chunk of equine life. This game invented in England but adopted and developed in Australia involves the hand eye skills of any ball game, the physicality of rugby and above all else, stunning horsemanship. To further enhance this mix there is a highly sociable element to these weekend meetings which is totally devoid of pretension, as you would expect with any Oz inspired sport.
