Georgie Wood and her family have been feeding Simple System feeds for over 8 years to all of their horses and ponies on their private yard in Surrey.
Georgie is a Show Jumping and Event Rider. Georgie and her horse Coco have picked up many top 10 placings at Intermediate and 2* and have also successfully competed at Advanced level. Proving that age is no barrier, in 2017 aged 18, Coco and Georgie won the SsangYong Musso Accumulator Series for Georgie to drive home a brand new SsangYong Musso for the year. This was alongside finishing in 10th place in the Eventers Grand Prix at Hickstead.
In 2018, Georgie won the BETA Amateur Sponsored Rider of the Year Award at the British Equestrian Trade Association Gala Dinner.
She has a very full and informative website detailing frequent blogs and a large number of videos from her events.
Georgie's aims for 2018:
To continue to enjoy every minute with my horses, visiting lovely events and different places.
Coco: Jump in the Foxhunter 2nd rounds and pick up some more top 10 places at Intermediate. However at 19 he will tell us what he wants to do so we will continue to manage him very carefully.
Hudson: To become established at BE100 and BS Newcomers ready to step up to BE Novice in the 2nd half of the season. If he does this I would like to take him to Osberton 6yo Champs but only if he is ready. He will not be rushed if he is not ready.
Joey: To be established at Newcomers and get our double clears for second rounds to add to his Discovery 2nd round qualification and stepping him up to Foxhunter. Event him at BE100 for fun and step him up to Novice later in the season.
Lily: Continue show jumping and qualify her for the Amateur Finals at 1.05. Unaffiliated eventing at BE100 to see whether she would like to do some eventing again.
“All my horses have been fed on Simple System feeds for many years now and they all look extremely well. Their products are extremely good quality and Lily is working brilliantly as a result. It has been vital to provide her with the ideal diet allowing her to lose the weight she put on in her time off but at the same time having enough energy from the food to meet the energy requirements her system required to build up muscle again.” Georgie Wood
